I have a client, 52y/o 5'4 292lbs...a doctor no less and wants to put $1500 mo. into IUL but of course declined already for height/weight. Any carriers more lenient or past a table H

Table E at Prudential if she is 291 pounds....decline if she is 292.

She can get a lot of the benefits by owning the policy, she does not need to be the insured.

Or she could lose a little weight. It would also be in her own best interest and would not be a bad suggestion. It would raise her chances of approval and lower her premiums if weight is her only issue. That way you would be looking out not only for her health but also for her bank account. Just another suggestion.

Brilliant Sherota. I'm sure this obese doctor has no idea that it's healthier to lose weight.

Its usually best to work with 'what is' rather than try to change things later. Generally speaking, people don't change and health only gets worse over time.

Lol...plus think of all the goodwill that you generate by telling someone to lose weight before you'll write them a policy.

What type of doctor is she? I am just curious. Does she have other health problems?

;) well have to ask because the term doctor is misapplied as much as financial advisor.

Which by the way, is on every name tag of each bank teller at my bank. Just trying to make sure of the situation.
