63 Days - Why?

I was looking at a Unicare underwriting guide and it mentioned that will look at group or church-sponsored plans as creditable coverage but made no mention of individual plans except on their group underwriting guide.

In TX, are we sure that individual to individual is in fact covered? If so, why isn't it stated on the applications and underwriting guides of the insurance carriers? This could be misleading to a client if they read the pre-ex clause...

Unicare can not trump TX law. Call TDI they will confirm individual is now creditable for PRE EX

What the consumer fails to understand is WAIVERS trump the pre ex clause.

All TX carriers will give prior credit on previous individual - they have no choice now.
