Does anyone have a recommendation for 69/m in MA. Prostate cancer in 2008. His Gleason is 3+3. Well controlled HTN, otherwise in good health.

"Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? "

Sorry. That's what came to mind when I read your post.

Is he under treatment?

The good news is at 6-7 yrs out he should start to be near the end of the tunnel for flat extras the stage wasn't too high (and his pre-treatment PSA's weren't outrageous) and he hasn't had any PSA issues since treatment. At a Gleason of of 3+3 that speaks to a lower grade usually.

For future reference, don't ignore the Gleason score and pre-treatment PSA's. They're right up there with determining the stage. It can make a huge difference (time depending) if the score was 4+3 or 3+4.

I had an inquiry similar to this recently and Protective said they could do it at Standard if his PSA levels are good and there's no other health issues, but 100K is their minimum face for his age.
