There was never anything remotely affordable in the AFFORDABLE Car Act.

It was never designed to be affordable. The idea was to expand Medicaid and lead to government managed health care funding, i.e. "Medicare For All"

Obama and company wanted to eliminate health insurance and he played them.

They took it hook, line and "stinker".

People tend to conflate health insurance with health care. There may be affordable insurance but high deductibles and co-payments may make care unaffordable. This is particularly true for HSA compatible plans where there are no benefits for any departure from good health until a high deductible is met. In the case of a two or more party plan the deductible is double the individual's and there is only a family deductible which can be more than $10,000.

Wrong on double the deductible for an individual. OOP max is per individual. Family max is double the individual OOP, regardless of family size.
