AARP Silver Sneakers Benefit Going Away?

I've heard from a couple clients that they're losing their free Silver Sneakers gym membership in 2017. These clients are in MI. Instead, their AARP Medsupp is offering some type of a gym discount plan and discounts on health and fitness related services.

Does anyone else have more info on this? Is this just a Michigan specific change, or is AARP taking this Medsupp benefit away everywhere? I called them and they weren't much help.
