Been trying like crazy to get in with Acuity on a contract for our agency. So far no luck. We've got many great carriers but this is one I'd really like to add to our lineup. There are a few industries that they will write that other standard markets won't touch. I could really put them to use on a few of those.

Anyone got any good insight on another carrier with similar appetite? In particular on the heavy auto exposure.

What do you mean by 'heavy auto exposure'?

AZDave - Someone that could do some trucking, in particular the log trucking.

Shawn - Auto Owners is extremely saturated in our area and I've never desired to try and hook up with them for that reason. Prefer to find carriers that aren't on every corner.

Does EMC write logging? I know they write fuel dealers and regular trucking

It's funny you mention this. My buddy just hired a commercial producer who used to write w/ Acuity when he was in the business 7 years ago. The new territory manager for Acuity was this guys old UW for another carrier. One phone call & one meeting later he get's the agency an Acuity contract.

Not in Kentucky. They won't touch it. And EMC has done some wild stuff for me over the years.

Thanks for the link. Doesn't look like they have the appetite for what I'm inquiring on though based upon the website. Do you have experience with them otherwise?

I found auto owners not worth the headache. Heard good things about Cincinnati.
