Advertising on Golf Courses?

Hey fellow agents.

I got a call from a company that sells advertising on golf courses, specifically at tee-signs. The demographics of the particular course seem to be exactly what I'm looking for, the price is fair, and the exposure seems good (350 days of golfable weather in Tucson).

Has anyone had any experience with tee-signs?

Unless it is for passive branding it is a waste of money. If you are marketing to the members, sponsoring tourneys and such maybe. If you are expecting a call from a prospective client save your money. IMHO

I've sponsored at a couple of tourneys. Not only had my name and info on a couple of folders but was also introduced at the dinner.

Still waiting for the 1st call.
