It has begun (already!) Got my first email this afternoon from Wellcare advertising First Looks at the 2020 plans

I just received an email from a small carrier here in northern CA with news of an addition of a major hospital system to their plan with a completion date sometime during AEP, which only one other plan has. I am still signing up the turning 65 and just retired medicare beneficiaries.

The thought of Wellcare taking over Aetna's PDP's gives me a terrible stomach ache.

See if they will let you set it up at the entrance and that way you can also be a greeter and at least get paid something!

My interactions w/Wellcare have been truly scary. Their people have no clue about the slightest complexity in the rules.

Come October, they will go off like a nuclear bomb, trying to absorb all of Aetna's PDPs.

Totally agree which is why I am moving my stand Aetna PDP's for 2020. Can't take Wellcare which is supposed to be bought by Allwell.
Wonder how that's going to work out. Especially
for Wellcare captives.
