Not a huge fan of Humana but they do have the brand recognition. At least around here. MAPD mainly.

Here in Iowa, the commercials/paid advertisement are in order: Political Ads, Seed commercials, Herbicide commercials, Humana ads, used cars.

Sincerely. There are more Humana ads than "Crazy Eddie" or whomever.

So, the big Aetna-Humana merger never happened and it had some sort of ripple effect on the layoffs at Humana, which shed 1,000 of jobs last year. Humana at Home Division faced the brunt of this failed merger, with over 500 layoffs.
