2011 Front Runner Rewards Sales Incentive Program - 2 different programs based on tier

Become a Front Runner
You can earn a one-time cash bonus each time you progress to the next commission tier. In addition to earning a higher commission rate, we’ll reward you for achieving the next level of sales.

Tier Advancement Payout
Gold to Platinum (50 applications in prior 12 months) $5,000 Silver to Gold (25 applications in prior 12 months) $3,000 Bronze to Silver (12 applications in prior 12 months) $1,000
  • This program applies to enrolled and approved applications during a rolling 12 month period.
  • You are evaluated based on your starting 1/1/2011 commission tier.
  • You can receive each tier payment only once. If your tier drops, you will not receive the payout for the second time you advance to the higher tier.
  • Sales incentive program payments will be issued monthly.
For Platinum and Gold Front Runners
You can earn more cash when you reach the Platinum tier – up to $20,000 per year! Gold tier brokers can earn more, too. If you're already a Platinum or Gold Front Runner as of 1/1/2011 (50 applications for Platinum or 25 for Gold in prior 12 months), you'll receive additional cash per application for growing and maintaining your active book of business each quarter in 2011.

Not yet at the Platinum or Gold level? Achieve a new Front Runner level, and you'll start earning more cash in the following quarter.

Platinum Front Runner
Payout
Increase your book of business by 10% or more*
Additional $10.00 per application

Maintain or increase your book of business up to 10%*
Additional $7.50 per application

Gold Front Runner

Increase your book of business by 10% or more*
Additional $7.50 per application

So...for the prior 12 months:

Bronze:12 apps - $1,000
Silver: 25 apps - $3,000
Gold: 50 apps - $5,000

Platinum: I you already qualified for Gold level bases on 2010 production (50+ apps) then you'll receive $10 per more per app if you increase by 10%.

So, if you hit 50 apps but hit 60 in 2011 it's an extra 1,200. I'm assuming the extra $10 per app is $10 per app per month X 12 months.

So, let's try and max this out. 50 apps per quarter (which almost no individual product is going to do...but anyway)

60 apps X 3K per app X 10% comp = $18K
Bonus = 5K
If you were Gold last year = $1,200 more

Total: $24,200

Back into 60 apps and it's $403 per app or around 13.5% comp average.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Back into 60 apps and it's $403 per app or around 13.5% comp average.

or we can sell uhc....cigna (depends on state) and make much more.....cigna starts at 12%, uhc 10-14% based on production......

Another example of Aetna taking something quite simple, and making it so complicated, I didn't care to continue reading. Kind of like the 10 worthless emails they send me each week.

I like how their "quarters" are actually a quarter minus two weeks. Wonder what type of calendar they use over in the home office there. Also wonder how many sales they expect in the two week gaps between quarters.

Forget it. I want to earn mOney now to pay my bills, not 60+ days afterwards. I am done with health insurance sales.
