This is along those stupid ETrade commercials that say they will give you up to $500 to open an account. Seriously? If I offered to do that for prospects, FINRA would have my license in a heartbeat. But it's OK for Etrade/Scottrade/whatever.

Out Cold walking the other day and was talking to this clerk who was the only person on this business when I stopped in. She liked what I was presenting and when we got to the part about Bank Draft she pulled out this form which seemed to be brand new...So I was asking her about her bank account. Turns out she just opened an account with TD Bank, they gave her $25 to open the account put $20 in the checking account and $5 in the savings account. Walked out of that building thinking I am in the wrong business.

Why not just hand out $15 cash in exchange for them listening to your pitch? You will probably get a lot of opportunities to practice your presentation.
