Aetna Pulling Out?

They decided to kill the MD market over a year ago.

Aetna was pretty strong in the IMM market in the 70's then dropped out. Don't remember when or why they got out. A lot of carriers got out in the 80's and early 90's.

Doesn't really effect me here in South Florida.

They are not competitive.

We have Cigna for rate-ups instead of riders.

I agree, also I feel Vista is VERY competitive IMO, they have some great plans, however are HMO , coventry one isn't bad either for northern Florida residents.

For some reason, I never really jumped on the Aetna wagon, I am sort of glad I didn't!!
