In a Medicare group on FB, some are claiming that AHIP training says no more Med supp cold calls.
I know it can’t be right.

I'm anxiously awaiting the verdict on this one...

I'm not sure, but I believe it's referring to cold calling for MedSupp under the guise to segue into MA.

That was in there years ago and supposedly it was taken out. Imo it should be put back in. Hopefully.

UHC does not allow cold calling for Med Supp and they also require a SOA for it; the only company that I know with those policies.

As far as I know, prospecting with other products as a guise to present MAPD is not allowed; not sure how that is determined or monitored but you can’t do it.

I don't struggle with AHIP(when I do it), but I do find it to be a huge PITA.

I like having AHIP, it thins the herd

I’ve written hundreds of uhc Med supps. Never with a soa. That’s not correct.
