I'm in the same boat as Insdawg, looking at the three big names, Allstate, SF, & Farmers. Although Allstate would be just an EFS for the time being.

I would personally look elsewhere none of the above would get my vote.

Went with Prudential Financial. Got my series 6 and about to transition to a FPA.
