Ancillary benefits GI for HI type plans?

A referral contacted me about an ancillary type plan for their adult child who has group insurance at their job, but has sickle cell anemia. I don't think any stand alone/individual plans would cover that.
I mentioned if the employer offers group ancillary benefits some might be guaranteed issue.
Hospital Indemnity or Critical Illness type coverage is probably what they are looking for.

GTL's is GI age 64 1/2 - 65 1/2. Their app doesn't ask about Sickle Cell, but it asks if you've been hospitalized in the past year. 40-85.

UNL had a GI HIP. I don't know if the still have it.

Great info, thanks! I need to get set up with GTL anyway. Not sure age of adult child. Will talk with the person asking, get more details.
