My best friend has been in the senior market in Mi. for 9 years and loves it. I have been in direct sales for about 7 years or so. I imagine that this is going to be quite a different sales process than what I came from (selling water softeners mostly). When you sell a softener it is mostly a "value building" demonstration(2 hours plus). How much time do y'all usually spend in a home with a new client?

I'm really excited to get started!!!

I have sold as many as 4 MAs in a day, but then Tuesday of this week, I spent 6 hours trying to get all the required information on one guy. If you remember the old TV program "The Carol Burnett Show" and Tim Conway's character (the old man) that shuffled his feet and made progress by the inch, this is exactly what I had to deal with! It took him half an hour to look through his wallet for his Medicare card. When he couldn't find it, he went into his bedroom to fetch his insurance papers, it took another half hour to go the 20 feet and back. I could go on, but you get the picture.

If you are not a patient person, this job is not for you!
