Anthem Blue Cross 10% Commission Obamacare

I just got a call from a friend said Anthem Blue Cross new Commission Rates are going to be 10%. He said he got the letter today. I'm in IL so I don't deal with Anthem but he does. So thats what Anthem will be paying because of ObamaCare.

I just thought I put that out there.

What do you mean. Those are the new rates starting right off or those are the rates after GI kicks in?

Pardon my naive question but I live in a state where independent agents have been eliminate due to "improvements" so am not up on some things.

He told me the States where he sells is Indiana & Ohio. These commission rates kick in Jan 1, 2011

BCBS in Texas is dropping small group commission to 4.5%, just got the letter today.

Didn't say anything about individual.
