Any Advice on What Company to Become an Agent with in Florida

Hi, I am an experienced agent and currently captive with a P&C company. I am looking to move to florida...can anyone tell me if their is a decent P&C company to work for as a captive agent or any chance of becoming independent in florida and what would that involve. Thanks for any INPUT!!!

Florida has not been very nice to the captives lately. I wouldn't suggest State Farm or Allstate, definitely.
