You would have to be a captive Mass agent. Most of the folks here are indy.
I have a Mass contract in FL but they won't allow me to sell the traditional LTC.
You'd be better off just calling up a local Mass office. Or maybe there is a Mass agent in your local chamber or something.
Thanks for bringing this opportunity to the forum! I am licensed in FL and have a contract with MM so I don’t see why I couldn’t sell it?!? For free I will even give your family member competitive quotes to confirm Mass is the best value proposition!

Are you a captive agent with Mass? Indy reps with Mass contracts can no longer write their traditional LTC.
You have to use a captive agent. I will get it for you through my Mass Mutual agent. I do it all the time. Call me at (800) 891-5824.
Indy reps cant write the 500 Florida, New York, or California product. Indy reps can write the 600 product available elsewhere. This is a FL issue.
. Because you cant write the 500 series.

With all this back and forth nonsense we could have had his friend approved and issued by now. Not complicated.
