Don't know what you mean by "funky", but my concern would be matching your selection to the market(s) you would be prospecting. Show me 20 tpa's and I will show you 20 different products. Not always, but most times my primary criteria is not the tpa but the underwriting organization and the carrier. After that I look at the tpa services, managed care program, call center capabilities and types of reports they provide. Network is almost my last concern.
