My 40YO Male client has a budget of $100mo and ideally wants 30-50K in coverage. He smokes tobacco and has Bipolar. Was going to try Trans, but he also has been in a Psyc Hospital in the past 2 years, and a felony. Looked into Settlers Bronze, but they only go up to 15K. Any good suggestions?

TIA!

Great Western does GI for age 40 up to $40k, but his expectations are unrealistic in regards to price vs benefit amount. If he's working he could qualify for the Transamerica GI term policy but the rates are only guaranteed for 5 years.

United Life (UFG) 30K GBWL comes in at $90/mo for age 40.

1st year - ROP + 4.5%
2nd year - 50% face
3rd year - Full benefit
