Anyone Tried Home Pre Quote Mailers?

I was approached by a company local to my area to try home mailers to people at their home buying anniversary (pre filled estimated quote based on size and year built). I am not plugging or mentioning any names (am not trying to spam) but wonder if anyone has used a similar type of service and what your results on getting call in were? I would need to close a minium of 1% of the mail outs to cover the cost of this.
