True on both counts, yes. As an agent, I've been satisfied with the speed of their underwriting (though not blown away - while their STM policies are absurdly fast, Humana and Golden Rule tend to be a bit quicker still). As a former insurance/billing specialist at a doc's office, holy crap they require a mountain of paperwork before paying a claim.

I, as well, have been happy with their underwriting and they are getting better about underwriting those with pre-x.
