Is anyone doing a good number of attorney malpractice policies? If so, what carriers are beating the policies they can get through the bar association?

I have had a lot of success with Monitor on new practices. It is a berkley company and they offer prices between 800 and 2000 depending on the liability limit requested. Travelers has a good program for established practices and they tend to take harder to place practices heavy in personal injury cases.
I write a good amount of LPL here in the Northwest and am currently working with 8 different carriers. None are a fit for all - some still hate any amount of real estate, some are super leary on anything dealing with estate work, some are still limited in how much & what types of personal injury, etc. etc. etc. Sometimes I can beat what the firm currently has whether sponsored by the Bar or not and sometimes I cannot. Market is in a hardening trend right now (in my opinion) so no one carrier will be your fit.
