BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

Now, the guy you should be talking to is Doug Massi, because one thing even most normal doctors will tell you is that vegan diets tend to be muscle wasting diets without protein supplementation and calisthenics and/or weight training.

Any suggestions for protein supplements would be appreciated!

For me, being on a "plant based" diet simply means I flipped the switch.

Most people eat a base of meat with some plant.

Instead of animal being the base of most of my meals, plants are! Yes, I do eat animal a few times each week.

In other words, I am actually doing what the doctors suggest.

Bicycling several days a week along with some weight lifting too!

The best protein supplements in the world is the one you’re already taking… Fresh meat! It would probably be a good idea to add to or three eggs a week at a minimum as eggs are the one food and nature that has every single amino acid we need to rebuild and repair muscle tissue.

There is a book called the longevity diet by Dr. vaulter Longo… I highly recommend it as he chew advocates a mostly plant-based diet, but he also sees the importance of including animal products as well. He is a professor at USC and a very smart man.
