[FONT=&quot]A bunch of forum members (along with other agents) are competing in a sales contest sponsored by Banner Life Insurance. We're currently halfway through. I believe 5 of the 9 agents competing are fellow posters over here.

First place gets a Macbook Pro and it looks like a forum member is running away with the contest with a documented 49 applications submitted for $106,210 in just 6 weeks. What a sicko!

2nd place? Set of steak knives.
3rd place? A framed photo of PICnic

The unique thing about this contest is we all generate our own leads online and aren't dependent on lead vendors. Depending on the agent, it's a mix of SEO, media buying, e-mail marketing, niche websites, social media outreach and referrals.

If you're interested in following along and learning how some of us are marketing and diving into a few case studies, here's the last updates from myself and another agent:

I'll update the final numbers in this thread in 6 weeks when the contest ends.

You know you all are competing for 3rd place--so you can have a picture of a "disappointed Nic West to stare at you daily, motivating you to win the next contest." Or, throw darts at haha

Final results are in. Insurance-forum.net users represented the top 4 spots!

We’re all using aliases to prevent being “Google Searched” as we don’t want any clients or even personal friends knowing our business.

These sales are applications submitted into underwriting (not just apps sent out). That's right, we had one agent submit $185k on 110 applications in just 3 months! Enjoy your new Macbook Pro!

Everyone had a great 3 months though.

New contest being announced soon. This time, we have SBLI sponsoring it. Prizes and dates TBA on our blog.

Was this all through EZLife?
