As for the amount of work, it all depends on what you are selling and what you promised to the client. There are many agents/brokers who do the bare minimum (shop, spreadsheet, sell, enroll, see you at renewal) and there are some who do more. It all goes back to what you believe you need to do to be successful in this market.
By the way, my opinion is if you are in the micro market, say under 20 or so, you will be doing too much work for the amount of commission you will make. If you are in the larger markets, you should NOT be doing the bare minimum. Just my 2 cents.
