Bernie's Promise to Bankrupt Health Insurance with Berniecare

The individual & small group health insurance markets are already trashed. Insurance companies don't control claims. They can't else we wouldn't have had a 10% trend for the last 25 yrs or longer. We have the best government money can buy. Why else would a 30 yr old drug with only minor changes allowing it to still be covered under patents cost $170/month? On the other side, a surgeon told me that the Medicare portion going to a Doc for installing a hip is ~$1,000. He has to pay his people out of that and provide 3 months of follow up service. Hip surgery is upwards of $50,000. Good thing he charges $100 for each visit when making his hospital rounds. The right has gone off the deep end as has the left. I'm taking my USD to Mexico to live holed up in a resort on the coast. Hopefully the cartel will leave me alone.

Forgive my language, but both sides have gone ape **** crazy. Both front runners are fng crazier than a sack of nuts. Neither parties are putting out candidates that are even close resembling a reasonable person.

We still beat Mexico lol.

Learn to speak Spanish because soon your doctor will be speaking spanish to you in a Latin America country who's doing your surgery and oh by the way the cartel just might be involved in the financial well-being of that hospital :O

And the stupid insurance here won't work down there ....I bet a bunch of money the doctors down there are making more than the doctors here these days... and they don't have to pay malpractice insurance. Make sure you take some friends and relatives along or make some new friends because you might need their blood. Forget about those wonderful blood banks. Thank You Bernie care thank you Obamacare

I'm not a sanders backer back any means but his plans are to lower taxes for the middle class. I'm not saying that's what he'll do, only that his plans are to lower it.

You are wrong about this Bernie plans to raise taxes for all including the middle class. The tax foundations says the average american's take home pay will be reduced by 12.5%. Self employed agents would be hit the hardest as they pay both the employer and employee tax.

Make no mistake, The Dems are in bed with big business as much as the Repubs.

The DNC will never allow Bernie Sanders, an admitted socialist to be there nominee.

The real questions is what Trumpcare will look like....:D

If Trump does not win and this communist becomes president, I am moving to Costa Rica or Belize somewhere with lower taxes and sip margaritas for the rest of my life. I cant make a living in the USA anymore. Bernie Sanders is proposing the highest corporate, cap gains and dividend tax rate in the world. Taxes are lower in UK and most of Europe. As for healthcare, when did govt ever run anything in an cost effective or efficient way ? Look at the VA. Im sure Trump will make a deal with the insurance companies and his healthcare "trumpcare" plan will be great. I trust Trump, a business person more than the communist.

I had the good fortune to spend a week "holed up" in a resort on the Mexican Riviera. There were a few reminders that living there is provisionally safe. The beach, which the perfectly groomed resort grounds joined, was regularly patrolled with AK47 toting police. The outside perimeter of the resort bordered undeveloped land, just beyond the fence it was like looking at those photos from above of the border between the US and Mexico in San Dieogo/Tijuana. It felt like being inside the world of "The Truman Show". The towns are nice, often charmingly quaint, not in that newly built paradise way (not that I don't enjoy a nice new building), and AK47 toting police are all over the streets. Expat living definitely on my radar. Not sure how I would feel about driving by myself there. Our local van driver got stopped for a "seat belt" violation, not sure if he talked/paid his way on that one.
