Best IUL

I don’t do hardly any life but I would think the question of “best UL” might fall in line with the question “best car”.

That is so true! If you keep up with IULs you'll notice that just like trucks, every few years some carrier rolls out a new shiny object. It might a crediting strategy, an improved living benefit or a new rider.

Unfortunately, the IUL that's the "best" today might not be the "best" next year. The "best" life insurance plan in the world for your client is the one that they have when they die. Perhaps North American will have more cash value than American General or Voya. Who knows?

When the beneficiary get the check, it really doesn't matter which plan was the "best" twenty years ago.

Sell an A rate company that has a decent Index and make sure your client is covered with an affordable plan. Living benefits are are great too, but IULs are called life insurance for a dang good reason.

Your job is to know your life plan and carrier and why they are a good option for your client. If you really know your product, you'll soon find out that you can not keep up with every carrier and every change.

By the way, there's also no way to know which Index will be the strongest performer over a twenty years period. Maybe it's a gold index, or the 500 or even BitCoin?

The fact that you are asking which policy is the "best" shows you care about the client and that's one of the best traits of a great insurance agent! All the best!

Hands Down the best IUL policy out there is North American Builder Plus.

We will only know which is best in about 20-30 years.

Some of the best UL's in 1980s & 1990s now have the highest COI rates & currently being sued for raising COI on ULs while lowering their term rates.

most of the best LTC carriers 20 years ago no longer sell LTC. NWM was not a very good priced LTC carrier, but here they are many years later with apparently much better long term pricing stability (I am not a fan of NWM in general, but respect what how they handled their LTC)

So, there are many good IUL carriers, but we wont know which one built too rich of a policy contract that they couldn't forever honor the projections.

Good Points Allen! For what we know currently, North American has been the best and their Builder Plus contract has made them even better.
Btw. raising the COI charges on current policy holders is criminal and in NA 140 year history have never raised COI

California... California has sooooo many problems the last thing they should be concerned with is NA trying to help their policy holders.
