Client has 19 medications from Mexico. He'll be getting a medsupp but will be seeing doctor in the US for first time.
What prescription drug plan would be good to go with if you dont know which medications new doctor will prescribe?
He's currently on an advantage plan. Can he just cancel his advantage plan or does he need to sign up for a part d plan so that it will automatically cancel out?

Seriously. I don't recall this situation discussed on his training website. Need to know best approach.

Nice try, CMS. You know we can't use words like "best."

I would wait. Or enroll him based on his current meds, then in the SAME MONTH, enroll him a new plan, if necessary, after he visits his doc.
