I am trying to find a good commerical insurance book to buy. I'm not sure about using a broker, as I believe they have one mindset to sale a book, and maybe not looking out so much for the buyers needs and interests. But they might be the only way to find a book besides knowing someone.

I would think a broker would be a good conduit, but perhaps not the best advisor.
If it were me, I would look to a broker to make the connection, and then use other or additional means to qualify.
