Any thoughts on Boomerang? Want email tracking to see when/if mail is opened.

I use an application called 'Sidekick'.

My only gripe with it is I wish the mobile platform worked a little better with my phone ...

I use sidekick for tracking opens and clicks, and boomerang for scheduling email sends (don't want people knowing I am replying to their email at 1am) and pushing them back to my inbox if no reply.

Most of my clients and prospects seem impressed when they get a response at 11 pm especially if right after they emailed me

If you are referring to the Boomerang app for gmail than yes I have used it. It's a pretty effective way of scheduling and keeping track of small amounts of email. I would never really use this for keeping track of mass email marketing or even lists of over 100 people. I prefer to use services like aweber and mailchimp.

    Regards,
    Alexander

I use Yesware which has a few different useful features:
    • Track opens
    • You can set reminders so you can archive the email and then have it automatically reappear at a certain date and time
    • You can schedule the email to send at a later time
    • You can have templates. These are emails that you send over and over. Instead of retyping the same email - just insert a template
