Brand New to P&C

Hello all,

I'm from Oklahoma and I'm Brand new here and to Insurance. I used to be an Oil Landman but was recently laid off due to the state of the industry. I grew tired of the insecurity of that field and decided to switch directions and get into a more stable business.

I have family ties to Insurance and I'll be working with my family. I took a TesTeachers course and passed the exam the first time. I've read a few threads here and there seems to be some good information here. So I'm pumped about getting started, getting to know you all and I'm open to any suggestions.

Well P&C is certainly more stable. Have you been able to work with your client management system or look at any of your carriers yet?

I've checked out some of the carriers but I'm still in the process of getting my license. So haven't done much other than just study for the exam but now that it's done and over with I can focus on learning the ins and outs of our company.
