    Hello,

I'm a new agent (p & c) that briefly worked for an independent broker. However, I found the environment in their office toxic, and I'd like to distance myself from them.

Is there a formal separation procedure that needs to be done?

Also, for some reason, I haven't had much success in finding information regarding the agency between an agent and broker. I'd really appreciate any suggestions on any resources with this info.

    Thank you!

If you are referring to the TDI license showing the association between your license and the broker's license, then yes, there is a formal separation procedure. Contact the TDI for instructions.
