My broker working with me on 60/40 split commission first year, then we switch he get the 60% on Renewals and I do get the 40%.
I just found out that if I bring another line for existing client I only get 40% , is this make sense ?

Did you sign a contract agreeing to the commission split? Commission splits vary per agency and per Producer. Our agency offers a range of splits based on experience and level of support provided per Producer. It would be worth trying to negotiate the additional line of business for the same commission split. If you didn't bring the policy in and the house rounded the account by on-boarding the additional policy the lower commission isn't bad.
