I'm in the process of creating my brand and getting a website up and running. Can anyone recommend someone to design a logo? I've been looking around on Fiverr, but wondered if anyone has used someone recently who's work they really liked.

After I posted I noticed that you've looked at Fiverr. I tried one and got 2 logos for $5 and didn't like either one. They've got many that make them. Try a few, if you don't like them you're not out much.

Or you could try making your own.

I recommend you look at your competitors and niche leaders, and see what you like about their logos. And take that list and give it to someone at fiverr, so they know what your looking for.

So if you do the $5 route, you would just have them make up a logo to see if you like it and go from there? I notice most of them have more expensive packages that can cost a few hundred bucks.

Are there any features that are must-haves? I'm going to create a Facebook page too, so I'm not sure if purchasing the social media kit is necessary to have my logo in my cover photo/profile pic. Also, I thought someone mentioned getting the vector file was important too, but I don't really know. This is all new to me and I've never used Fiverr before.

I went back and looked...I tried 2 different ones and didn't like either, but I was only out $11. It's $5 + .50 tax. Toby used them to set up his Facebook page and I think he said he was happy with it.

Like I said, for $5 a whack, you can afford to experiment.

Check with Toby.
