I had an accident and avail car rental while my car was being repaired. I have $50/day coverage. Does the $50/day also covers car rental taxes (I think car rental charge me 2 types of taxes). My car rental was $40/day excluding taxes. When I returned the car, rental company billed me with taxes. As per them taxes are not covered. I checked car insurance site nowhere it stated that taxes are not covered. Can I reimburse this with my car insurance?

But did you read your policy? What you read on the site is NOT your policy.
I doubt that your policy addresses taxes specifically so If you spent more than $50 per day you should get $50 per day no matter how it's allocated.
Submit your receipt and stop worrying about it.
