Thanks! The commission rates must be slightly higher in other states? Average cot of a homeowners policy here is roughly $2,000. What is the average cost where you are at?

Did you work direct for Liberty? 2% renewal is criminal! Why work?
You should be getting 15% for HO in Texas through independent companies, less if you access through an MGA or aggregator.
Auto and commercial lines (especially professional liability) is much less.

As an LSP (licensed sales producer) for a captive agent with Allstate, it's 15% annualized commission for all personal lines. Zero for renewals. Bogus, but seems to be the norm after speaking with several Allstate agents.

Allstate doesn't pay renewal commission? Do they give a salary? What's the point? I thought LM was bad.
