Carrier is Asking for Agency Code

Good Afternoon all.

I was asked for my agency code by the carrier. How do I obtain this agency code? What is an agency code?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you've contracted with a company through a brokerage agency they're asking for that companies ID. Usually they'll just ask you for your agent number ,

It may be displayed on the carrier site when you login.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the response. The carrier was asking me for the agency code not knowing I had not had one assigned to the agency yet. The confusion is now over.
