too late for 2015, too early for 2016 but plenty of time to actually learn something before you potentially ruin someone's health by enrolling them in a plan.

If you get stated now and take it seriously you might be ready by the time Open Enrollment starts in November.

You can try, but it says june 1st, but then it says June 10th. Gov't speak

Beginning on June 15, 2015, the 2014-2015 Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM) training and training curriculum completion certificates for Agents and Brokers will no longer be available on the Medicare Learning Network® (MLN) Learning Management System (LMS) as we prepare to launch the training for plan year 2016. You should not sign up for a new plan year 2015 training curriculum after June 1. If you plan to complete any of the 2014-2015 training curricula (or print any certificates) and have not yet done so, CMS recommends completing this training prior to June 10, 2015. Please note that completion of the current year’s training curricula (2014-2015 training) does not count towards the plan year 2016 registration process for Agents and Brokers.

To see your completed curriculum certificates, sign in and go to the “Training Home” page, click “Transcript” on the blue task bar under the Health Insurance Marketplace logo. Click on the “Curriculums” view under the blue task bar and then click on “View Certificate” under the “Action” column. You should retain copies of these curriculum certificates in order to provide them to the health insurance issuers and web-brokers with whom you are affiliated for assisting with plan year 2015 enrollments.

They are saying no new enrollments for certification after June 1st if you signed up and haven't completed it get it done by June 10th. They are giving extra time for remedial agents who can't do the certification in the same day they sign up.

Outside vendors will be allowed to process FFM training for 2016:

Resources for Agents and Brokers in the Health Insurance Marketplaces - Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Part I of the Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM) training and training curriculum completion certificates are no longer available on the Medicare Learning Network® (MLN) Learning Management System (LMS) for plan year 2015. CCIIO is preparing to launch the training for plan year 2016 on a new Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) later this summer. The option to take training on an approved vendor's website will also become available at a later date.

Part II of the agent and broker registration process for plan year 2015 must be completed by July 1, 2015. To do this agents and brokers should visit the CMS Enterprise Portal at https://portal.cms.gov to:

· Create an FFM user account; and

· Complete identity proofing to add the "FFM agent broker" role to your account.

In preparation for the transition to the new MLMS, CMS will be hosting a webinar in July titled, "Plan Year 2016 Registration and Training for Agents and Brokers." The purpose of this webinar will be to provide plan year 2016 requirements agents and brokers will need to complete in order to become registered to assist consumers through the FFM either through thenew web platform MLMS or through a CMS-approved vendor.
