Does anyone still sell their products? If so, how do you sleep at night?
Also, why does Medicare still let them operate? You or I would be in jail.
The better business bureau gives them an a plus rating. What a joke

Ummhmm. Why did they get suspended? Just for shits and giggles? I could write a lot of things that I've seen but no proof. I'd give anything if I'd had documented things when I worked for them.
I hope this never happens to you or anyone, but imagine if your doc said if you don't take x prescription, you will die. It's amazing that you're alive. Then hspring ignores or denies your request for a formulary exception until you are dead? How many times has this already happened? It's undocumented because the person it happened to is dead! I'm not saying hs has done this because I have no proof. Use your own judgement. It's rare that evil and intelligence mix, but when they do, look out

I certainly won't defend CHS as I am not a fan, but you might want to research how many MA and PDP carriers have been suspended or fined. There's a long list. CHS is just one of the more recent.

Yeah, but it didn't take those other companies 2 years to get compliant. CHS did.

So one year is good, but two years is bad? Got it.

And in reality, it was 17 months (01/21/2016 to 06/16/2017). Again, I'm not defending CHS. I have moved most of my clients away from them and have no plans of enrolling anyone with them again.

My point was that many companies have been suspended and/or fined. If that's the only measuring stick when determining whether or not to work with a company, then we'd have very few companies with which to work.

If I recall correctly, they were given the chance to fix their problem before they were sanctioned. They seemingly did nothing and ended up with the sanction. So they actually dealt with this for over 2 years if you include the time from when they were first warned to get it fixed.

Ok you win.

So what is general consensus?

I had been thinking about contracting this year, I have had few request this AEP and looks like they have good plans in few areas However I know nothing about their networks, Or customer service, I would guess the CS is good after coming off sanctions.

The network in E TN (80% of my business) is not comprehensive enough for me to sell their MAPD. Last time I checked there were a couple of counties that only had 2 or 3 PCPs taking it, and I believe the plan requires a referral to see a specialist, but I am not 100% on that. I have heard that they are better in W TN if that is where you sell.
