Cigna Part D Sanctions

Are they still under sanctions? Do current clients still have a SEP out of their Part D plan? If so, can I do the enrollment say with SS or Humana or refer them to Medicare?

Yes, they are still under sanction. Yes, you can refer them to Medicare to see if they can complete an application with them using an SEP.

You can only do an enrollment for them if they have a current SEP other than the one for the sanctions. (A chronic SNP if they qualify, LIS, ect.) If their SEP is because of the sanctions they can ONLY switch by calling Medicare.

Yes, you have to deal with Medicare if the SEP is because of the sanctions.
