Client did not pay the Part B Premium

Ok so here is a first for me, client took a HI-F and did not pay his Part B Premium for over a year. Just went to the doctor and he was told he did not have Part B so claim was denied.

Are there any options for coverage, he is now subject to the GEP and will not have coverage till July 2019.

The Christian Health Share said they could not help him.

Is there a reason? Besides stupidity, lazy, etc. That he can prove for an appeal at SSA?

Has this happened in the last 60 days and he can prove it? That will get hom an ACA plan. No subsidy and it costs a fortune. But its something.

I had one do that and said he was advised that way by his “financial advisor”.

He got a brain tumor and had surgery on it with only part A covering him.

Crazy stuff.
