Prospect looking to buy a home and was told the current own filed a claim for water damage with their current carrier 6 months ago. When we ran a quote and pulled a CLUE report nothing shows up. Do both admitted and non admitted carrier claims show up? Any words of advise would be much appreciated.

Since the loss was the soon to be previous owner, it should not affect your customer. It IS a head's up for your inspector

The buyer would like to know what the actual damage was and the cost to repair, the CLUE report is showing nothing :spinny:

Not every insurance company reports to CLUE and not every claim is reported by those that do. I suspect that companies have varying thresholds below which they don't report.

The buyer can ask the seller or seller's agent for the claim settlement papers showing the extent and cost of the repairs and he can make the presentation of those papers a condition of his purchase contract.
