Cold Calling, Telemarketing, and Just Plain Talking on the Phone

This might be sappy, but I read it somewhere and it hit home, and when I talk to people I reread it and it has the effect of inducing genuineness that the customer picks up on.

Just Remember,
Everyone here is a musician. We may not play a trumpet, guitar, drums etc. and we might, but for here, I like to consider us musicians, and the instrument is the PHONE. How well you play your instrument depends on passion and practice, just like learning any other instrument. We all desire success, so go play your instrument from the heart and the customer will feel it.
