Commercial Brokerage Expanding To Personal Lines Franchise

Our group health and commercial lines brokerage is going into personal auto, homeowners and tax preparation. Does it make sense to go with a franchise opportunity like Fiesta? Is there a true value to paying the $10,000 franchise fee and giving up 25% commissions? Can I set up the same quoting system on my own? Can I get the same appointments on my own without marrying up and giving away money? Where can I get training and leads? All feedback is greatly appreciated :)

Why don't you leverage your commercial lines carrier to the personal lines? Some of them must do both CL and PL right? As for more info, search forum for "alliance, cluster" " Siaa" and you can also go to agencyequity.com for info.

The bulk of our business is group health, but we're looking at our CL carrier appointments. Thank you for your input.
