Commission Tracking for Life & Health

I've been muddling through the threads looking for any new information regarding inexpensive solutions for commission tracking. I currently use AgencyBloc for my CRM but I can't see paying the amount that they want for the commissions module. I'm not even sure if it would really be what is appropriate for my one man shop, as I do not pay agents directly.

Has anyone used or currently use Agency Comp? This looks interesting and not ridiculously expensive.

I'm in a similar place. 4 of us. 2 produce most and 2 produce a bit. Checking out APL. A friend with an agency very much larger than mine clued me in. His agency is a bit further along in the vetting.
