The reason I sought out this forum was to discuss compensation. I am a captive agent making a good income ($100k +). My company is changing the compensation and of course they are telling us that it is inline with the industry average.
I am a Multiline agent with the majority of my income from P&C. I'd like to here some commission percentages that you all are making out there. On P&C, the company is offering.
10% First year comm.
7% Renewal (option of 1-2% bonus based on production)
Plus they are cutting benefits and office allowance.
