Hey guys I'm still kinda new in the insurance industry... I'm currently contracted under a FMO which has appointed me with Aetna do sell their Senior line of products... However I want to do individual line. I don't think I have been appointed thru my FMO for individual lines. Am I able to get appointed directly with Aetna without going thru my FMO so I would no have to lose my split for individual business?

Not sure if it is clear but, I want to continue submitting my Senior line through my FMO and while my Individual line, I want to submit directly so i get compensated fully. It seems like my FMO currently takes about 50% of my senior line of business.

So where is the conflict? Those are two different product lines. I don't see any issues.

I am a GA for Aetna individual, but I don't even have a senior contract that I am aware of.

I would say those are not related in my opinion.

You could possibly get duel contracting, however I am appointed with Aetna for Medicare, but with my appointment I am able to sell underage health also.
