As some of you know, I have sold Life insurance to Sales Managers, partners at Life Insurance companies before. Normally, I also dont have any problem with connecting with them on Social Media, especially Linkedin. However, in the last week, I received connection requests from 2 Life underwriters at 2 different carriers. I had to think about and I ended up accepting them even though I have personally never met them. Do others here network with Life Underwriters here? Doesn't create a conflict of interest if we get to know them on a personal level?

I'm connected with a number of advanced sales desk people on LinkedIn, but I don't think I'm connected with any actual underwriters.
